Kyle Tanouye – Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Kyle is responsible for setting Milan's strategic vision and overall operations of the company. Kyle brings over 20 years experience working in both start-up and mature companies focused in technology, mobile and digital media advertising. Prior to founding Milan Marketplace, Kyle co-founded Talisman LBS, a leading mobile marketing technology company specializing in audience engagement advertising. Before that, Kyle was president of multimedia for aio Group Media, overseeing web and mobile digital media development for the company’s portfolio of magazine publications and web properties. Kyle has held executive leadership positions at companies such as Calix (pre-IPO/IPO), Advance Switching Communications (pre-IPO/IPO), Verizon/GTE Corp., and Apple, Inc. Kyle holds a degree in Finance from the University of Hawaii.

Bin Li – Vice President, Engineering and Development

Bin is responsible for all strategic planning, design and product development. Bin brings over 16 years of experience in technical research and development and has worked for startup and multinational companies including: Blue Lava Wireless (pre-IPO acquired); Jamdat Mobile (pre-IPO acquired); EA Mobile; Matsushita/Panasonic Soft Research Co., Ltd (Osaka, Japan), and Hitachi (Beijing, China). Bin is trilingual (Chinese/English/Japanese) and holds a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Zhejiang University, P.R. China, and a Master of Science in Information and Computer Science from the University of Hawaii.

Paul Jespersen – Vice President, Strategic Business Development

Paul is responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of the Milan Marketplace sales strategy and team, as well as establishing strategic business partners and relationships. Paul brings an understanding of sales and business development and a proven record of success in helping startups build their revenue streams. He has over 15 years of experience at companies like US Robotics and Cisco Systems, as well as several startups, including Advanced Switching (ASC), which successfully completed an IPO, Ocular Networks, which was acquired by Tellabs, and Timetra Networks, which was acquired by Alcatel. Most recently Paul was Vice President, Strategic Development at Montego Networks, which was named an Infoworld Hot Startup. Paul received his Bachelors degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
